Privacy Policy

How MicrologicX collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Effective date: 2 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MicrologicX Software House ("MicrologicX", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit micrologicx.net, contact us, apply for a course, or use our services, including our WhatsApp Business messaging service.

1. Who we are

MicrologicX Software House is a software development company based in Faisalabad, Pakistan. We build websites, software and mobile apps, offer IT training, and provide business messaging services to other businesses ("Clients") through the WhatsApp Business Platform.

2. Our role in WhatsApp messaging

We help Client businesses send and receive WhatsApp messages using their own WhatsApp Business Account, phone number and display name. We do this as a Meta Tech Provider, using the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and messaging infrastructure provided by Twilio Inc.

  • For messages a Client sends to or receives from its own customers ("End Users"), the Client decides why and how that information is used. We process it only on the Client's instructions, as their service provider.
  • For information about our Clients themselves (their account, contact and billing details) and about visitors to our website, MicrologicX decides how it is used, as described in this policy.

If you are an End User who received a WhatsApp message from one of our Clients, the Client's own privacy policy applies to you. You can also contact us and we will pass your request to the Client and help them answer it.

3. Information we collect

From visitors to our website

  • Details you send us through the contact form: name, email address, phone number and your message.
  • Details you send us when you apply for a course: name, email, phone number, CNIC, city, gender, whether you are a student or working, and the course and course medium you choose.
  • Technical information: your IP address and the approximate location (country, region and city) that an IP lookup service returns for it, browser type and pages visited.

From Clients who use our WhatsApp messaging service

  • Business and contact details: business name, contact person, email, phone number and billing details.
  • Account identifiers created when the Client connects WhatsApp through Meta's Embedded Signup: WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, the WhatsApp phone number and display name, and the identifiers of the Twilio account we set up for the Client.
  • Message templates the Client creates, including their content and Meta's approval status.

About End Users, on behalf of our Clients

  • WhatsApp phone number and WhatsApp profile name.
  • Message content sent and received, including text, images, documents and other media.
  • Message metadata: timestamps, message IDs, and delivery and read status (sent, delivered, read, failed).
  • Opt-in and opt-out records that the Client provides to show the End User agreed to receive messages.

We do not ask for, and Clients must not send through our service, payment card numbers, passwords or other sensitive data that WhatsApp's policies do not allow.

4. How we use information

  • To deliver WhatsApp messages on behalf of Clients and pass replies back to them.
  • To connect a Client's WhatsApp number to our service, create and submit message templates, and show delivery reports.
  • To answer your enquiries, process course applications and provide the services you ask for.
  • To bill Clients for their usage and keep accounting records.
  • To keep our services secure, prevent spam and abuse, and investigate problems.
  • To meet legal obligations and the requirements of Meta and Twilio.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use End User message content for advertising, profiling or any purpose of our own, and we do not use it to train AI models.

5. Who we share information with

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp) carries every WhatsApp message and processes it under the WhatsApp Business Terms and WhatsApp Privacy Policy.
  • Twilio Inc. provides the messaging connection and stores message logs under the Twilio Privacy Notice.
  • Our web hosting provider stores our website and its database.
  • Google provides Google Analytics for website statistics.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users, our Clients or the public.

Each Client's information and its End Users' messages are kept separate from other Clients. One Client cannot see another Client's data.

6. International transfers

Meta, Twilio and Google run servers in several countries, including the United States. Information processed through them may therefore be stored or handled outside Pakistan. These providers protect it under their own published privacy and data protection terms.

7. How long we keep information

  • Message content and delivery status in our own systems: up to 90 days, then deleted, unless the Client asks us to delete it sooner.
  • Client account and billing records: while the Client uses our service, and up to 12 months after it ends, or longer where tax or accounting law requires.
  • Contact form messages and course applications: up to 24 months.

Meta and Twilio keep their own copies of message data for the periods set out in their policies. When a Client leaves our service, we disconnect its WhatsApp number from our account and close the Twilio account we created for it.

8. Security

  • Our website and service use HTTPS, so information is encrypted in transit.
  • WhatsApp access tokens and Twilio credentials are stored on our servers only and are never shown in web pages or sent to browsers.
  • Each Client gets its own separate Twilio account.
  • Only staff who need access to do their work can see Client or End User data.

No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell the affected Clients without undue delay so they can inform their End Users.

9. Data deletion requests

You can ask us to delete your personal information at any time:

  1. Email micrologicx@yahoo.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
  2. Tell us your name and the phone number or email address the request is about. If you are a Client, also include your business name.
  3. We will confirm that we received the request and delete the information within 30 days, except records we must keep by law. We will tell you when it is done.

If you are a Client who connected WhatsApp through Facebook Login, deleting your data also removes the stored access token and the WhatsApp account identifiers from our systems. You can also remove our app at any time from your Facebook or Meta Business settings.

If you are an End User of one of our Clients, you can stop messages at any time by telling the business you no longer want them, or by blocking the number in WhatsApp. To delete your messages, contact the business that messaged you, or contact us and we will pass your request on.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, give you a copy, or stop using it for a particular purpose. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send requests to the contact details below. We will answer within 30 days.

11. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are used. You can block these cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. Our admin area uses a session cookie for login only.

12. Children

Our messaging service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through our website.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If the change is significant, we will also tell our Clients by email.
